Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your coffee journey
My coffee journey began from my Scout Jamboree at Mystery Creek, Hamilton 2001/2002 where I had lots caffeine one night. I ended up so hypo and the next day was very dehydrated which led to me staying back at camp drinking lots of water with salt in it. So that’s how fell in love coffee, it was that day.
I started work at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village as a Part – Time Kitchen Assistant, which opened up doors to other opportunities. I worked at the First Café and then The Grind where I did a Food and Beverage Course which ultimately let me to the Auction House Café & Bar where my love for coffee has continued to grow and develop.
