Terms and Conditions

 

  1. Promotion: Entry into and participation in the Win a Diwali Fortune Promotion (the Promotion) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Promotion Period: The Promotion commences 28th September 2026 at 12:01am NZT and will close 15th November 2026 at 11:59pm NZT.
  3. Who can enter? Entry is open to residents of New Zealand, subject to these Terms and Conditions (Eligible Entrant). You are not eligible to enter if you are an employee of the Promoter or its related corporations or agencies, or a member of an employee’s immediate family.
  4. Under 18? If you are under 18 years old at the time of entering, you must obtain the prior permission and consent of your legal parent or guardian. Your parent or guardian must read these Terms and Conditions and may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent. Any Prize will be awarded to the successful entrant’s nominated parent or guardian.
  5. How to enter: to enter the Promotion, you must, during the Promotion Period:
  6. Purchase any two of any participating Fortune and/or Simply products (5L Canola Oil, 5L Sunflower Oil, 20L Canola Jerrycan Oil, 2 x 10kg Chakki Atta, 5kg Basmati Rice, 20kg Basmati Rice, 4 x 5kg Chakki Atta, 5kg Biryani, Mango Pulp) in a single transaction from the participating retailer (any retailer advertising this Promotion instore) during the Promotion Period (Qualifying Purchase).
  7. Fill out the entry form with the following details: first name, last name, mobile number, email address and your receipt for the Qualifying Purchase, and drop it in the entry box in store.

  1. Receipts: Failure to produce the proof of purchase when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of the Eligible Entry and forfeiture of any Prize. Except as otherwise specified in the ‘How to Enter’ information above, purchase receipts must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to entering.
  2. Multiple entries: Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following:
    • Limit of one (1) entry permitted per Qualifying Purchase/receipt;
    • Each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry instructions above.
  3. Your entry: You promise and warrant that all the details submitted with your entry are true and correct.
  4. Receipt of entries: Neither the Promoter nor any other entity associated with this promotion will be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete or incorrectly submitted entries. Entries are deemed to be submitted at the time of receipt by the Promoter or its agents.
  5. Prize: There are a total of 71 prizes to be won, comprising of 70 x $101 in store credits and a bonus prize for the Trolley Dash prize valued at $501. The total prize pool is valued at $7,751 (NZD).

Yogiji Banner Weekly Prizes

  • Week 1: 10 x $101 (NZD), drawn on the 8th October 2026
  • Week 2: 10 x $101 (NZD), drawn on the 15th October 2026
  • Week 3: 10 x $101 (NZD), drawn on the 22nd October 2026
  • Week 4: 10 x $101 (NZD), drawn on the 29th October 2026
  • Week 5: 10 x $101 (NZD), drawn on the 5th November 2026
  • Week 6 : 10 x $101 (NZD), drawn on the 12th November 2026
  • Week 7 : 10 x $101 (NZD), drawn on the 19th November 2026

The in store credit prizes are redeemable only at Yogiji and will be arranged within 14 days of receipt of contact details from the winner.

Trolley Dash Prize

The Trolley Dash Prize winner will be drawn from all eligible entrants on 19 November 2026, with the dash to take place at Yogiji on a date determined by the Promoter (acting reasonably). The Trolley Dash  Prize is valued at $501 (NZD). The winner must comply with reasonable store safety and conduct requirements when participating in the Trolley Dash. If the winner of the Trolley Dash Prize is under 18, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian and the Trolley Dash must be carried out by that parent or guardian.

  • The promoter is not responsible or liable to replace misdirected or lost prizes should the winner provide their information incorrectly.
  • The Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or negotiable.

 

  1. Prize draws: All prize draws will occur at the Promoter’s Christchurch office, 38 Essex Street, Linwood, Christchurch 8011 at 10am NZT on the draw dates specified above. For the store credit prizes of $101, prizes will be drawn from Eligible Entries received by close of business the day immediately before the relevant draw date. The Trolley Dash prize will be drawn from among all Eligible Entries received during the Promotion Period. The winners will be the first entry/entries randomly drawn from all valid entries received in the relevant period, provided that each Eligible Entrant can only win a maximum of one (1) store credit Prize during the Promotion.

 

The draw conductor may draw additional reserve entries in case an invalid entry or entrant is drawn. The winner of a drawn prize is determined by chance.

In an event where the Promotional Period ends and there are prizes that have not been

drawn due to no valid entries having been received, then there will be a prize draw from

all valid entries from the promotion period and prizes will be allocated accordingly.

 

  1. Prize winner notification: Each winner will be contacted by the Promoter or its Agency using the contact details provided to the Promoter/Agency at the time of submitting the entry and within 7 business days after the relevant draw.

 

  1. Costs: Entrants are responsible for all costs associated with your entry including but not limited to internet access.

 

  1. Promoter’s rights: The Promoter reserves the right to:
    • provide an alternative gift of equal monetary value in the event that a gift or prize or any part of a gift or prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter's control;
    • disallow entries in its absolute discretion;
    • verify the validity of entries and determine the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant's identity) and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a gift where dishonest or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions or the spirit of the Promotion;
    • to terminate this promotion or amend any aspect of this promotion (including the gift) without notice at any time in its sole discretion in the event that this promotion or any aspect of this promotion cannot be reasonably conducted as planned;
    • enforce any of its rights at any stage and failure to do so does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

 

  1. Exclusion: The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is or may be suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is or may be suffered or sustained, in connection with participation in the promotion or accepting any gift or prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

 

  1. Game of Chance: This Promotion is a Game of Chance and skill plays no part. Each entrant has an equal chance of winning.

 

  1. Indemnity: As a condition of participating in a promotion, the winner indemnifies the Promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with that promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees on a solicitor and client basis) which the Promoter may incur arising out of the winner’s participation in the promotion and/or participation in a gift or prize, howsoever caused.

 

  1. Publicity: By entering the draw or accepting a gift or prize you consent to the use of your name, likeness, image or voice in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purposes of the Promotion and promoting any products manufactured, supplied or distributed by the Promoter.
  2. Privacy: The information collected about entrants in the course of the Promotion has been requested to enable the Promoter to conduct the Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (including publicity), and for promotional purposes.   1. Your personal information: A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out above.

 

  1. Promoter: The promoter is Goodman Fielder New Zealand Limited (Company No. 1508360) of 2/8 Nelson Street, Auckland 1010 NZ (Promoter). The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the promotion is final and binding on every person who participates, and no correspondence will be entered into.
