Apple Cinnamon Ricotta Toast

Sweet apples, warm cinnamon, and creamy ricotta layered on Vogel's toast—simple, cozy, and seriously delicious!

Ingredients

Vogel's Original Mixed Grain Toast (2 slices)
1 tsp Butter
1 Apple, Diced
¼ tsp Cinnamon
1 TBSP Coconut Sugar
½ cup Ricotta Cheese
Honey, to drizzle
Walnuts, roughly chopped (to garnish)
Edible Flowers (optional garnish)
Pinch of Salt

Method

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Add the diced apple to the pan - sprinkle in the cinnamon, coconut sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft and caramelised. Remove from head and let cool slightly.
  3. Toast 2 slices of Vogel's multi grain bread until golden.
  4. Spread a generous layer of ricotta cheese on each slice of toasted bread. Top with the warm, cinnamon-spiced apple mixture.
  5. Drizzle with honey to your liking. Top with walnuts and garnish with a few edible flowers for a beautiful finish.
