Beef Galbi Burgers

An ode to Korean street food, this juicy Beef Galbi Burger is the perfect mix of smoky, creamy and fresh.

Ingredients

1 Nature's Fresh King Burger Bun
MeadowLea Butter Spread
Lettuce or Salad Mix
1 tbsp Garlic Aiolic
2 Tomato Slices
Salt & Pepper, to taste
140g Beef Mince
40g Beef Galbi Sauce
1 tbsp Ssamjang Mayonnaise
2 Slices Meadow Fresh Swiss Cheese
Ssamjang Mayonnaise
20g Ssamjang
1 tbsp Mayonnaise
7g Maple Syrup
Pepper

Method

  1. Make the ssamjang mayo - In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well and set aside. Store extras in the fridge for up to a week.
  2. Form & season the patty - Take 140g of beef mince, mix with galbi sauce and gently form into a patty, slightly wider than your bun. Season with pepper.
  3. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the two beef patties for 2–3 minutes per side or until browned and nearly cooked through. Place swiss cheese on top of the patty, cover the pan with a lid, and steam for 30 seconds to melt.
  4. Slice the burger bun and butter both sides. Toast both sides until golden then set aside.
  5. Assemble the burger with sauce, salad mix, patties and serve immediately.
