Strawberry Glaze Smoothie

Ingredients

Strawberry Syrup (3 serves)
1 cup Frozen Strawberries (135g)
1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
1 Tbsp Water
Smoothie (1 serve)
1 cup Frozen Strawberries (135g)
1/4 Avocado
1 Medjool Date
1 cup The Alternative Dairy Co Barista Almond Milk (250ml)
2 tsp Maple Syrup
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 Tbsp Coconut Cream

Method

1. Syrup
Simmer strawberries, maple syrup and water in a saucepan on medium heat until
strawberries have softened (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat, cool, then blend until smooth. Refrigerate until needed.


2. Smoothie
Place strawberries, avocado, date, milk, maple syrup and vanilla in a blender and
blend until smooth.

3. Drizzle coconut cream up the sides of a tall smoothie cup/glass. Add one third of the strawberry syrup (approx. 30g) to the bottom of the glass. Pour in smoothie and serve immediately.
