Banana Bread

Ingredients

1kg GFIG Banana Bread Premix
370ml Water
147ml Simply Canola Oil
370g Bananas

Method

1. Add water followed by remaining ingredients into the mixing bowl.

2. Using a paddle, mix on slow speed for 1 minute, then scrape down the bowl.

3. Mix for an additional 1 minute on slow speed. Do not overmix.

4. Deposit into a greased bread tin 1kg of batter and level the batter in the tin.

5. Place ½ of a sliced banana on top of the batter before placing in the oven.

6. Bake at 160°C for approx. 90 minutes for a 1Kg loaf size.

De-pan from baking tins after a few minutes out of the oven to avoid the loaves sweating in the tins while cooling.

Use the above as a base recipe and add some inclusions to offer something different to your customers. Some examples are: Chocolate Chips, Blueberries, Raspberries, Walnuts, Caramel Patisserie Filling
