ADC Grilled Rhubard and Strawberry Smoothie

Delicious, delectable, and a little different, this smoothie will be sure to surprise and delight. It will have your customers asking what the secret ingredient is. Fresh and healthy!

Ingredients

250g Rhubarb
250g Strawberries
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
1 1/4 tsp Honey
3 Cups ADC Oat Milk

Method

  1. Place strawberries and rhubarb onto a lined baking tray and place under a grill for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until bubbly and darker in colour.
  2. Place the grilled strawberries and rhubarb, vanilla and honey into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Place in fridge to cool.
  4. Divide chilled sauce mixture between 3 glasses. Spread the mixture a little up the sides of the glass with a spoon.
  5. Place almond milk and ice in a high-speed blender and blend well. Pour evenly into the 3 glasses over the sauce.
    Serve with a thick straw and stir sauce through before drinking. Makes 3.
