We got speaking to a very crucial member of our Longburn Dairy site – Morghann Mott. Morghann has grown her career and has contributed to Goodman Fielder over many years.

  

When and where did you start your career journey with Goodman Fielder?
My journey started with Goodman Fielder in 2005 at Longburn Dairy while I was still at high school. I worked part time on the weekends and during school holidays as a factory cleaner – great way to get some pocket money and allowed me to save up and buy my first car.

What roles have you held since joining Goodman Fielder?
Filler Operator in cultured foods, Support Administrator which included covering the following roles: Data Administrator, Production Planner, Maintenance Planner, Site Receptionist, and Purchasing Coordinator. And now, Supply and Planning Manager.
 
How has Goodman Fielder supported your career development? What role did mentors, leaders and workmates play?
I have learnt heaps and had some good support/help along the way. There are a lot of people who have been here for a long time, and they are always happy to offer their advice.

What advice would you offer to someone looking to progress their career at Goodman Fielder?
Work hard and put your hand up to take on any new opportunities that come your way. If you miss out, then keep working hard as you never know what is around the corner.

What do you enjoy most about working at Goodman Fielder?
Definitely, the people. I have worked with lots of different people from different backgrounds. Also, the fast-paced environment as there is never a dull moment on a busy manufacturing site.
